Questions

Is any real money involved?

No. Everyone starts with the same virtual cash, and it can’t be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged for anything. There are no purchases in the app and no prizes. The leaderboards are for bragging rights only.

How do prices move?

After each game, a player’s price moves by how they played compared with what was expected of them. Beat expectations and it rises; fall short and it drops. Buying and selling never moves a price.

Trading on a player pauses shortly before tip-off and reopens after the final, once the new price is posted. When a player is ruled out injured, their price freezes and no one can buy; if you own them, you can sell early at a discount or hold.

I didn’t get my sign-in code.

Codes come from Draft Capital at draftcapital.app and can take a minute. Check your spam or junk folder, and make sure the address is typed correctly. If you ask for several codes, use the newest one. Still nothing? Use Continue with Apple, or email us.

I used Sign in with Apple and can’t find my account.

If you chose Hide My Email, your account is under Apple’s relay address, not your usual one. Sign in with Apple again on the same Apple ID to open it. To use Apple on an account you made with a code, sign in with the code first, then choose Settings → Link your Apple ID. Still stuck? Email us.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Delete account. Your handle and name are removed and you leave every leaderboard; your alerts, watchlist and sign-in are deleted. If you used Sign in with Apple, Draft Capital’s access at Apple is revoked too. Your trades stay in the market’s records with no name on them. It can’t be undone.

Can’t get into the app? Email us from your sign-in address and we’ll delete it for you. More in the privacy policy.

How do I turn alerts off?

Choose which alerts you get in the app’s Settings under Alerts, or turn all of them off in iOS Settings → Notifications → Draft Capital.
